The Wandering Alchemist is about a passionate love affair with flavour.

Having spent many years travelling the world, sampling the many tastes it has to offer, I want to share these wonders with you.

Drawing on the amazing world of taste, I craft custom cocktails to reflect your ideas and create lasting happy memories of your event.

Whenever possible I use handcrafted, locally sourced ingredients to create the infusions, house bitters, syrups and garnishes for your custom cocktails. This philosophy of local, and fresh, infuses all our productions.

Bartender

Fine Spirits, classic cocktails, great atmosphere, and fun conversation. That is what makes a great bar experience.

With many years of global cocktail making and bar managing behind me, I will make your event fantastic! Whether it is a small gathering of friends or the bar at a large wedding, it will be a fun, educational and entertaining evening.

Check out the cocktail book I wrote over the years I spent serving drinks on ships plying the frigid waters of both the Arctic and the Antarctic polar regions.

Personal Chef

I love good food, and I love making people happy with a great food experience.

Over my many years of cooking, I have learned many ways to prepare great ingredients and create fantastic meals for small and large groups. French, Italian, Asian, Latin American, Spanish, I enjoy creating it all for an appreciative audience.

Arriving with my good knives, spices, and serving staff if needed, I can produce your vision. Group sizes up to 30.

I also offer in-home cooking classes I like to call “Dinner Rescue”. I will arrive midday, meet and greet, assess ingredients, take the class to shop for the remaining ingredients, return and teach set-up, prep, cooking, service, and cleanup. If this sounds like a good time for a group of you and your friends, please email me.
